Adeline and Kenzie met through mutual friends and started playing music together with another friend in the winter of 2023. By the end of summer, Adeline and Kenzie started playing music as a duo and formed The Raspberry Jams.

The Raspberry Jams are inspired by their eclectic musical tastes from bands like The Cure, The Smiths, Belle and Sebastian, Oingo Boingo, and current artists like Destroy Boys, The Beths, and Sidney Gish. 

In September 2023, they released their first song "The Raspberry Jams" on Bandcamp. In October 2023, they released "The Yelling Spider". In November 2023, they released their first 3-song single including a new version of "The Raspberry Jams (We're Jamming)", the newest song "Inconsistency", and "The Yelling Spider". Their single was officially released on streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music on December 1, 2023. A week later, The Raspberry Jams went viral on TikTok after posting their first video....and gaining over 3,000 followers and 16,000 likes on their video in just over a day. 

The Raspberry Jams are working on new music and hope to release their first full-length album in 2024.
